I have a little brother who is 6 and has down syndrome. My mom keeps trying to pooty train him and he just wont, we are thinking about sending to my grandmas for like 5 days and maybe she can take a shot at it….anyone got any tips? Im sick of my mom being all cranky because my brother wont use the potty.
I will be getting a kitten soon. The problem is I live in an apartment and I’d hate for the cat to have to be inside 24/7, what kind of life would that be! So I’d like to train it to walk on a leash so that I can take it to the park with me and let it walk with me. I’d like to know any good websites that explain how to train them or any tips that you have.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier, just over a year old. I live in an apartment complex where a lot of people own dogs.
When I am walking my dog and he spots another dog, he wildly tries to pull me in that direction. If the dog is close, my dog lets out loud shrill screams and continues to try to pull me. It is almost impossible to control and its embarassing.
Other than that he is very well behaved for a JRT and he is real smart. Just a little wild in certain situations, this being the worst.
So what can I do to control this behavior?
he’s not aggressive in a mean way. He just is curious I think and wants to play. But he plays rough with other dogs like wrestling around and nipping (no intent to hurt). If I let him check out the other dog, They sniff, then start wrestling and the leashes get tangled up.
I’m wondering if any of you have used Bark Busters as an in-home dog training service. I have an appointment tonight with them and I’ve been hearing some negative remarks about them, i.e. they teach you to growl at your dog to get him to obey you. If this is their only method I’m cancelling the appt. I was just wondering if anyone had a good experience with them or have used other training companies such as Canine Dimensions, etc. I’m not trying to lose all my money though!! Thanks in advance for your help.
Their corporate office just told me they scream "BAH!" at the dog to scare it away from bad behavior. Is scaring my dog half to death worth 5? Especially since they preach that "fear isn’t the way to train a dog"? Really? Well what do they call a sudden outburst like that? Anyway, my trainer has a 6 pm appt. at my house tonight and he hasn’t answered his phone in 2 days. Safe to say we’re cancelling. Peace out Bark Bustas.
I’ve read the back of dog food bags & it mostly depends on the weight of the dog. But I’ve heard different things some say 2 years others say 1 year. I heard on the news after 6 months because the puppy food makes them gain a lot of weight. Who is correct? Thanks!

My golden retreiver attcked my Husky Lab mix dog. He’s just a puppy and my goldens 2 years old. Anyways there was a little blood shed done by the 2 year old. Will he turn bad now or is that just a myth? It was over food.
