I brought home a puppy, my friend couldn’t keep it so i was going to help her find a home (mine hopefully!) and prove to my mom that i was responsible enough to take care of her. My mom doesn’t like dogs anyways. She was a very good girl the whole time she was here. I gave her to my best friend so i can still get her back. my mom still wont give into having her back but the dog made us all happier and me happier. I cleaned up after her, brought her for walks, brought her outside and she came with me everywhere. my mom had nothing to do with her. i was even paying for her vet bills. but mom still wont say yes! any ideas? the dog would be with me everywhere, work and everything. she would pretty much only sleep here or be crated in my room if she couldn’t come somewhere! i know all about dogs, in highschool i was a canine major and can train/show/groom them. she just still wont give into the puppy!
I’m 18 years old, just had knee surgery 6 wks ago, the dog is sort of a therapy thing to get me walking, also a companion and agility/obedience show dog. I would get my own apartment if i could afford one in this area. I live in mass and its a little ridiculous for apartment pricing, plus breed restrictions apply and shes not a breed that people like. shes a pit bull. i have 2 cats, and i had a guinea pig i was responsible for and took care of except for the fact my mom put it in the big living room window and tried to give it a respiratory infection cuz she hated it. so i gave it to my nieghbor to better his health. i would hide the dog, except shes large, and i have a small little house! everywhere we are i mention her and my mum is starting to feel a little guilty i think. I am a nail technician at a spa and CAN afford her vet bills whether checkups or emergency vet bills. i understand this is her house, but the dog doesnt chew, dig, bark, pee or anything bad! shes a good girl!
I had to withdraw from college for EMERGENCY KNEE SURGERY DOES NO ONE LISTEN? its very difficult when you have goals to be set back again and again because of an injury that is possibly threatening to your career and goals! im a horseback rider. i ride them, take care of them, clean up after them. did i forget to mention that too? im between a rock and a hard place. im still paying off nail tech school, can’t go to college for my major because i just got screws put in my leg, just went back to work. saving up for my own place really isn’t in the cards right now. its almost 1200 a month for an apartment around here. i’d rather pay a mortgage.
