I have a great dane who is almost a year old, and we want to install an Invisible fence for her in our yard. I don’t know much about them, and was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what brands are good, what is the best wire type, etc. I’m clueless and I want to get something that will work best on her, especially when she is full grown at 150 lbs. I’m getting a dachshund puppy in two weeks. I’ve already done a lot of research on them, but I wanted to see if anyone with experience had any tips for raising dachshunds. I want to give my Cricket the best environment possible when we bring him home, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

My cocker spaniel is now close to five years old. She’s a great dog and completely trained except for one thing. Whenever she gets hold of something, be it a sock, or food she isn’t supposed to have she won’t give it back. And if you try and take something from her she will sometimes get quite nasty, and bite often drawing blood. I love my dog but I can’t continually have to be scared of her approaching her when trying to take something from her, what can I do to solve this problem?

We purchased a dog and it has CKC registration papers. Not Canadian kennel club but continental kennel club. I only really know about AKC but is it worth registering my up with this club or is it a push over club like American Pet Records.?
It is a chihuahua pup.

When transporting a puppy in carrier crate (Plastic with metal gate) where do you put it inside a car? The front passenger seat, or the back seats? And also how do you secure the carrier crate safely into the car?

I took my dog for a walk to day at the local high school. As I was getting out of the car, (with my dog that had a harness and leash on) one of the coaches I am presuming pulled up and asked "Your not taking that dog on the track are you?" Because I did not want to start and argument, I politely said, "Guess not." And left.
I was under the assumption that you are allowed to walk dogs on all public property unless there were signs that posted otherwise.

I’m 19 and I’m have an interview with a dog kennel. The job is mostly labor, cleaning kennels, walking dogs and more cleanings.

What exactly do I wear to an interview with this type of job? Is black dress pants and dress shirt too much? Or should I wear jeans, flats and a nice shirt? Or go completely casual with jeans and sneakers?
