My dog is terrified of the travel crate I got for him and I have to travel with him next week! We are flying to Florida for 3 weeks and I purchased a soft shell travel crate in hopes he’d be happier than a plastic crate. No such luck. Does anyone have any suggestions to help him get used to it fast?
He’s a 15lbs Pomeranian/Eskimo

I have a male 1 year old golden retriever and he already knows how to sit and shake. But, I can’t teach him to lie down or stay. I’ve tried to teach him to stay but all he does is jump on me for the treat. I tried videos but they don’t help. WHAT DO I DO?!
THANX

Does anyone know of a breeder or someone selling chocolate labs in the Gainesville, Florida area? I’ve searched on the net for breeders and labs for sale, but most either don’t have any reasonably aged puppies, or want too much for a lab. I am looking for a male puppy (that is just off weaning…~8 weeks).
Just for the record: I do understand that purchasing a lab from a breeder will cost more money. I just don’t think that ,500 is a reasonable price to pay. =)
Thanks in advance for your help!
Thanks for all the responses, but I’ve already looked in the local newspaper (and papers for the surrounding area), checked all the local shelters and rescues, and checked all the websites that you mentioned. =(
I don’t want to show this dog…I simply want a great companion/watchdog/friend for me and my family.

Can i train my maltese to walk without a leash or if she doesnt do it often i shouldnt try it?She is hard to train she likes to learn on her own by doing mistakes first but in that case a mistake would be running away? Or should i keep her on her harness?Whatever is safer

I have a lab we guess is 1 year and a half to 2 years old and when we rescued him over 6 months ago he was housebroked. We haven’t had any problems with him, except for the last 2 days he’s peed in his kennel while we are away at work. He was in the kennel for about 5 hours, which is very normal for him. He also chewed some of the plastic bottom of the kennel too. Does the peeing have to do with the distruction? We already guessed he has seperation problems, so we think this might just be associated with that. Any other ideas? Anything we can do to prevent this from happening again?

My tongue keeps pushing against my two bottom front teeth and now they are separated. The one in the front toward the right is pushing another tooth on my canine tooth. Also I noticed that my canine tooth on that sides tooth is more exposed (as in it almost seems like there is less gum there). Can buying a retainer or a mouth guard prevent me from hurting my teeth more?
