She is a 6 year old female basset hound.
We adopted her when she was 4.
Sometimes she will let us know that she needs out, but other times she just poops on the floor when we’re not looking.
How do I know if my kitten has rabies? He was infested with fleas when we first got him and now that he’s bigger he is SO mean. He is my first kitten, and I know they might play rough, but he is *crazy*. He growls and hisses and ‘spits’, there’s no foaming at the mouth like everyone says there would be, but that can’t be the only sign.
My dog is a spayed female. She is very sweet and friendly and loves meeting other people and dogs. However, she often snaps at me. She loves to bark and she’ll sit at the window and bark at anything that passes by. When I try to push her away she’ll snap hard. Then a few minutes later she’ll be all sad and guilty-looking. Okay, I got my little pomeranian puppy a year ago, she just turned a year old in July, but she still doesn’t have as much fur as the other pomeranians we see. We bought her, and the owner told us she was a genuine, real pomeranian. She doesn’t have papers, but she told us she isn’t a mixed breed.

Will she grow more fur, or is she not a real pom?
My 2 yr old dachsund has an issue with begging for food and me and my parents always cave in.We also feed her 1 hotdog a day.But i want to stop giving her table scraps and start a new life for her.I’m starting to take her for more walks now too.So how much dog food should I feed Maggie and how much? I’ve had her for about a year.But we’re still sticking to the hot dogs b/c we already bought 4 packs
Why do you train your dogs in obedience? I know that most people have their own reasons for doing it and I am interested in hearing some.
I have my own reason for doing it, of course, and I will share that with everyone later.

That is my goal from the first day I put a collar and leash on a dog.

I have a neighbor who just moved in next door about a week ago. They left there dog in a small confined area next to there house where he barks all day. He broke the gate down and started running through the neighborhood barking. I called the owner and finally his brother came to get the dog. Now the tenants ( the owners daughter) keep the dog in the back yard where it barks for about 11 hours at a time. What and how can I get this resolved without a knock down drag out with my new neighbors?

I have 3 dogs, a female dachshund who is alpha bitch and two female pit-lab mixes. The pits get along great, and the dachshund gets along with them but constantly play fights with them. I just got an abandoned female dog, (she looks like a terrier) but how do i get my other dogs to like her? Sophie (dachshund) pretty much hates any girl dogs aside from the two pits. Help?
