My King Charles Cavalier had pups just over 24 hours ago and today I notice that she is panting heavily and rapidly. She is eating and drinking fine and her behavior hasn’t changed. Is this something to be concerned about?
For some strange reason I just thought about rabies and I wondered what would happen to someone if they got bitten by a animal with rabies. Would the person get rabies? will they die? or will they fell fine after a while. I also wanna know how did the animal end up with rabies in the first place? Can people get rabies without being bitten?
What would be the pro’s and cons to get a pure breed and mixed breed?
My puppy is crate trained. We wake up about an hour earlier than we have to in the morning to let her out and let her play for a while, then she stays in her crate for about 8 hours during the day while me and hubby are at work, then she’s out from the time we get home until about 11-ish, when it’s bedtime. Then she goes BACK in her crate until 6:30 when we let her out in the morning. Her crate is downstairs in the living room, and our bedroom is just upstairs. When she hears my alarm clock go off in the morning, she barks her HEAD off until we come downstairs, preventing us from snoozing, and irritating us through the getting dressed/bathroom/before we go downstairs routine. How do we get her to stop barking and just WAIT on us?
Look, to you people that wanna get nasty about it, she’s only in there until she’s completely potty trained, then she’ll have free rein at night, no problem. So shut up. >:-( We love her, and she loves us, and we’re not "cruel" to her, as some of you are implying…
When this dog was 1 years old, he went to several obedience classes. It went great and he was indeed,obedient. After about 3 years he has no obedience,and doesn’t listen to a thing.
It’s just that he keeps eating all the cat’s food,and even though i punish him,he still eats it,everyday
Edit* i have hit the dog pretty hard(don’t take that the wrong way.) and have put him in a cage,he just doesnt get it

I was wondering if there was a dog show type things for mixed breeds in Oklahoma near Oklahoma City or somewhere. Not like agility but an actual dog show. Because I have a GORGEOUS lab/pit bull named Bonnie and she would be perfect in dog shows!

Which on should I get. I heard that the Cavalier king charles Spaneil could have Seriuos medical problems. But, I heard they are good dogs. I had a English springer for 10 years she was great she passed away last year. Which one should I get?

I have this dog named Evie that we got from a rescue home. The problem is that I’m the one who plays with her and our other dog, Jack, so when she sees me, she gets excited and gets herself into play mode. She jumps a LOT around me, and even this morning, she bit me (now this is very unusual for her, and I’m not even if it was a playful bite or an accident but I don’t think she would ever bite me as if I were a stranger). She doesn’t do this with any of my other family members, but obviously my mom and dad are bigger than I, and I play with her more, that might be why she jumps on me more. But anyways, I need help so that when she sees me, she doesn’t jump so much. I know you can step on their back paws when they jump, but she jumps too fast for me to do that. And when I kick her in the stomach while she’s jumping, I don’t think it really gets the message across to her. Please help me.
