How long does it take for dog food and raw meat to come out after digesting?

My dog gets a high quality dog food twice a day and she poops it out every 12 hours or less. Is it normal? How about a raw diet? How long would it take for that to"come out" for a 27 pound dog

I am going to say it takes about 24 hours for the food to go through the dog’s body but if there is any hormones or anything like that then it takes 7 days to go through the dog. That is why they have allergies to a lot of human food and color dies.
Easy way to check is to give him something that won’t digest — like canned corn. You’ll see it come out the other end undigested. Make a note of when the dog eats it and when you see it.
The higher quality of dog food will make him go in smaller amounts. But why would you feed a dog raw meat? Not good! He could get really sick.
The raw meat would come out faster…it only takes a few hours.
Never feed a dog both kibble and raw meat at the same time, since they digest at different speeds it could make the dog very sick. But, you probably already know that. (o:
And to the poster above….feeding a raw diet it a lot healthier for a dog than feeding them kibble. The main reason dogs get sick is due to the kibbles we feed them.
