Question for raw dog food diet people, please ?

Please answer ONLY if you feed your dogs raw.
I only give my dogs raw meat ocassionally mainly as a treat….little pieces.
What kind of RAW bones are ok to give them?
Are the bones labeled ‘soup bones’ at the grocery store safe or are they too small and sharp???
What kind should I get for them?

I give chicken necks and backs. but i also don’t feed raw 100%. I used to think marrow bones were great, until i read a bunch of articles that dogs break teeth on them. I give my dogs the "soup bones" from the grocery store.
I make sure before I buy them that they are large and solid (enough for Basset Hounds) and have no sharp edges.
If you have a large dog or aggressive chewer, make sure you supervise so that he isn’t breaking off chunks of bone.
I also sometimes give them raw chicken backs or necks, they simply eat those, bones and all.
I don’t feed my dogs a BARF diet, but I can answer this question.
I used to buy the butcher marrow bones, raw, from the meat section of the grocery store for my dogs. They still have a little meat on the outside of them, and raw marrow on the inside. Don’t buy them anymore, mostly because I never think of it when I’m in the store. But, I’ve never had a problem with them (my biggest dog is about 70lbs).
They’re messy, so they’re best fed outside, but they are the ones most reccomended to me by people who feed raw.
Soup bones, rib bones, marrow bones. I think any beef bones are great and I give them all to my 2 Pits. I stay away from pork and poultry, but have never had any problem with any type of beef bones.

I feed a good quality kibble but I’ve just started adding in Raw as a treat. Every few days I give her a raw egg (shell and all) mixed into her food and I just bought a bag of chicken wings and have given her a couple here and there like a treat. I’ve been trying to get femurs from the butcher at the grocery store but I get there so late he always says he already gave them all out to other dog owners.
I’m sure you already know but for those who don’t….NEVER give a dog cooked bones, they will splinter.
I give my dogs almost any form of meat/bone/offal that doesn’t eat them first.
The main issue with a dog who is not usually fed raw suddenly moving to a raw diet is intestinal upset from the change. The other issue is pancreatitis because the dog’s system is unused to dealing with the increase quantities of fat.
I have large dogs…. I don’t feed chicken necks because my dogs swallow them whole.. I do, however, feed pork neckbones which are small and my dogs seem to do fine on them. Without seeing what your store is calling "soup bones" I can’t really give you an answer- but its likely I would feed them.
Because I have big dogs I try to get whole femurs from various types of animals… they love carrying around the big bones and then settling in to gnaw on them.

Most people say stay away from chicken bones, but I know of some that will give their dogs chicken necks or wings with no issues.
I don’t feed just the bones, as I do pre-packaged, so I can’t help more than that. Sorry.
I give my dogs chicken wings, chicken backs, chicken drum sticks, chicken necks, pork neck bones, lamb neck bones, duck necks, turkey necks. I have small dogs and tend to avoid the weight bearing bones because I don’t want chipped teeth. The weight bearing bones are usually hard and used more for recreational use, the bones I listed above are completely eaten.
