How to teach a puppy to poo in one place, and wee in another?

I’m getting a puppy soon, about 7 weeks old it will be, and my dad doesn’t mind it urinating in the garden but wants it to poo outside, meaning while we’re going out for a walk… Is there a way to teach it this? Or is this something to teach it when the puppy is slightly older? Thanks
I only ask this because my old dog, who died, used to never poo in our garden and always waited till we went for a walk and in the field.

What do puppies feel like inside the female?

Today is my dog’s 42 day of pregnancy at 55 we are doing xrays to find out for sure. So far i feel something right below the rib cage in the left side. Its not a perfect circle is more like an oval or lined shaped, or at least thats what it feels like. Could it also be a vein? I dont know if thats where the puppy/puppies could be located by the way. What do puppies feel like? And where?
I am NOT pressing on her "guts" you need to stop being rude or go away since your pointless because you come without an answer. You come to be rude to people. Like always.
Thanks she is a Scottish Terrier and took her for palpation at day 24. Vet told me she felt 1 or 2 things in there. So this is why she probably wont show untill the last week and i probably wont be able to feel them untill then either.

Puppy mills?

So my friend just bought a puppy from a pet store and im telling her to take it back even though she paid the same amount as she would have if she had adopted a puppy. Are ALL pet stores buying their puppies from puppy mills? She proves a good point that if she hadn’t adopted the dog, theres a chance no one else would have and he would have gone to the pound to be euthanized anyways. So again, are all pet stores puppy mills?

How many puppies can an owner register with the AKC in a year?

Im curious how a dog owner can register tons of puppies with the AKC each year. I thought there was a rule that you could only register 27 a year. I know a couple who has had several AKC litters this year. 30+ puppies. It a nice facility but Im curious. How do these people get away with it? Is it considered a kennel or puppy mill?

I am going to have 4 puppies who are 9 weeks old. I am moving across the country from Florida to California.
My mom is going to send me my 4 puppies by plane. Can you put 4 puppies in one crate? Or no? The puppies are 5 lbs each.

I have 5 puppies that are 6 weeks old. There mom ran off and never came back. For the past 3 weeks I have been feeding the puppies 2% milk. How old the puppies have to be before I can give them puppy chow?

puppy mills?

i’ve just been through a whole day with looking at puppy mill videos and puppy mill webs. its terrible, i know. but i have just one question, after the puppies are born in the mills, do the mother dog care for them or would she be too tired to even lick them? would she act like a regular mom and clean them and eat the sac off or would she just faint out of exaustion? this is really important because i am working up something to exterminate all puppy mills >:( PUPPY MILLS MAKE ME ANGRY

I am looking for free puppies, any breed (even mix) in my area, i live in kansas but i would travel to western missouri!

Thanks, and if you know a real place where you have seen free puppies please tell me.
i am willing to pay for its bills after i get it… i just wanted a mix breed and generally them dogs dont cost that much…

i already have the stuff for a dog just need to get the dog… lol

Puppy Training

Whether you are planning to adopt a puppy or you have already gotten your puppy home, it is very important to begin right away with training your puppy the right way.
Puppy and dog training will vary slightly depending on the breed of dog. It may be a bit different for a beagle or collie than it would be for a pitt bull or a doberman, but basically it's all about discipline, repetition and rewards.
You have to begin housebreaking as soon as you get the puppy into your home and work steadily with your dog to become accustomed to his or her surroundings.
If you are going to be crate training, which is a highly recommended method of house breaking any dog, here are some tips for you to keep in mind.
Purchase a crate that is just large enough for your puppy to turn around in and not much bigger. If it is larger than that, make sure it has a panel that can be added at one end inside to temporarily reduce the size of the crate. Later on, you can remove it entirely allowing for the growth of your dog as he or she matures.
In the beginning, especially if your puppy is very young, like 4 months or less, make sure you take the puppy outside to go at least every couple of hours and reward the puppy immediately upon relieving itself. Have treats or dog cookies with you and when the pup starts to pee or poop, say "good boy" or "good pee" every time and reward him or her with a treat right there on the spot.
If you delay the reward even just a minute or so, they won't understand what you are rewarding them for. It has to be done just as they start to go or the very second they finish.
You can say "outside" very enthusiastically each time you take the puppy out to go.
Walks should be frequent and very short in the beginning.
Don't expect your very young dog to go for long walks at first. Just be happy if you can go for two or three houses and back again. Of course, always bring bags with you so the neighbors won't want to call you dirty names!
