How can I get my dog to stop biting?

I recently rescued a dog from the streets and I took her to the vet got her all fixed because she had an eye infection, rotten tooth, very dirty ears, and we got her fixed. We also found out she is about 3 years old. Any way, she jumps up on people and recently she has been biting, its a play bite but still I do not want her to hurt any one. She grabs my arm with her paws and bites. She also does this to my Dad and sister. How can I get her to stop this rude act?

as she goes to bit you (your hand) take your thumb and press down on her toung..
this makes a discomfort, which they will soon dislike.
It worked on my puppy, we learnt this in dog school
when she starts to jump up, turn to the side and put your knee up and tell her "no". this will help break the jumping habit. the biting seems related to that. if it is play biting, just pull away and tell her "no".
