Please help. Is there a way that I can get him to do this indoors? Thanks.

Limit the room he has, like a crate and put the pads in there so he gets use to going on them, use the nature`s miracle pads they are pee sented and grass sented too so they get used to both smells and it is easier to move them to the outdoors to go later. Put the pads on one side and his bed on the other they are den animals and won`t potty on his bed, most of the time.
why dont u just take him outside?
well, when he pees indoors pick him up and bring him to the pads.
or if he pees indoors use a paper towel to clean it up and lay the paper towel over the pad so it smells like his urine.
good luck
Watch him carefully and when you see he is preparing to pee, take him to the pad and give him the "potty" command. When he does this correctly, give lavish praise.
Dogs pee largely based upon scent and some pads have a special scent to tell the dog this pad is to pee on. Also, there are sprays you can buy which will tell the dog this area is to pee. Another alternative is to use a small amount of the dog’s own pee on the pad, which will "mark" it the next time he needs to go. Repeat this often enough and a habit will be formed, which is what you want.
I think there is a spray you can buy that attracts them to it. Also, if there is already a spot where there was an accident, you could put the training pads there. From my experiences, they like to go in the same spot. But hopefully that spot isn’t right next to the dinning room table or something!
those didnt work for me try this, this is how i potty trained my dog
if the dog goes potty inside clean it up and pick her up and put her outside for a while let her come back in! If you catch her in the act of going potty scold her!!
take her outside alot and when she goes potty praise her and give her a treat!!
hope this helps!
