you can either go cold turkey and just take the pads away and go back to when he was a puppy, take him outside every hour and when he goes reward him.
Or, move the pad slowly from where it is to near the outside door, and then just outside the door, then move it slowly to where you want him to go. You should be able to move it a few feet to begin with, when he gets used to the pad moving you could move it further each day.
Ahhhhh take him outside.
Bit hard now.
But i guess you could move them outside.
Thats why i never used those things, just teaches the dog to do his/her business inside, and thats not what you want.
I know this sounds a little strange… but take the wee wee pads outside with you when you take him for a walk. He will go on the weewee pad outside and eventually associate going outside with going potty.
Put some pads outside till he gets used to going there.
Once he’s got the idea quit putting them down in the house.
Gradually, you should be able to quit using the pads altogether.
It may be to late so you may have to deal with accidents for about a week in a stern but calm way
YOu need to buy a long bell for you door to hang on and then ring the bell make sure the dog is looking and then go out side and then ring go out side and stop buying wee wee pads and when he/she poops or pee stick face in it and spank them hard enough to show them what they did is bad and when they ring the bell let them go potty or poop and when they come in make sure you give them a treat to show them they did a good job and make sure you have treats with you all the time! My dog learned quick this way!
Patience and persistance is the key!
Take your dog out every few hours, and WAIT until he/she goes potty outside, then PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE!!!!
You must make sure you take him/her out very often, and stay with him/her to watch and see if it goes potty outside, and at that very moment you must offer praise and rewards (start with treats for at least the first 6 weeks), and make sure you’re able to continue this training, and taking it out every few hours or else it won’t work.
You’ve already trained your dog to use wee pads, and now you must teach your dog to "unlearn" what it’s been taught, and learn a new behavior.
Good luck!
