I pay my dog walker $15 every time she comes by my house. She plays with the dog, walks him around the neighborhood and lets him run in my fenced yard. She’s here about 30-45 minutes and sometimes she feeds him too depending on what time of day she’s here. She’s insured and bonded and runs a pet hospice and dog daycare also. SO, if you have those qualifications, then about $15.
HOW FAR ?
HOW LONG ?
5.00 /6.00 a hour
One hour walks typically go for $5 a dog. $2.50 for a half hour.
Just take what they give you. Then raise the price the more customers you get, seeing how high they’ll pay. Before you start dog walking, remmeber to bring potty bags and treats!
I used to dog walk. I walked a little mixed breed for about ten minutes monday thru friday. I got payed $25 at the end of each month. Pretty good for pretty much just letting him out to go potty!
Not more than $5 per hour long walk.
Depending on your experience, where you live, how many dogs you walk for each person and how long all play a factor. I live in Manhattan and pay my dog walker $15 dollars for a 30 minute walk. Sometimes she takes my dog out longer. I would say that $10-$15 for a half hour is very reasonable.
Here is a link that lays out the salary for the dog walking industry.
