She will eat one a day, if allowed, and I’m wondering if it is safe for her?

In my opinion, raw-hides are one of the worst "bones" you could ever give your dog. The one object we surgically remove from dogs intestines the most each year are raw-hides. Not only do they cause obstructions to the gut, but they are dipped in chemicals (eh!) for preservation and for flavoring. The can cause all sorts of GI issues and are simply horrible for oral health. I would never feed my dogs any raw-hides. So, to answer your question… no… this is not safe.
A safer and much heathier option are Natural Bones or NylaBones.
it depends on how big she is.
It’s not really healthy for her. I don’t like rawhide because many dogs try to eat big chunks and they could choke. Try limiting it to a few a week.
NO.
Rawhide has been known to cause bowel obstructions.
Try a nylabone instead.
i think it’s ok, i just would lay off giving her another bone for a while
how big is it.
No. Rawhide does not digest in the stomach. Actually the Vet told me not to give my Dobie any rawhide. I could give him those vegie flavored bones tho. He scoffed them right down. But he did get one a day for a treat. You can give them those real sterilized bones tho. Just take them away when they get them down to a sharp pointy stick
I wouldn’t allow it. I just gave my 11/2 year old pit bull a rawhide bone for the first time ever a few weeks ago. I was scared to death he chomped it down in less that 2 hours. They also make his gums bleed. Personally ill never give it to him again. He loves it though. But its just to risky for me, you should stick to nylabones they’re safter and last longer. That’s what I plan on doing.
NO. rawhide bones do not digest well in the stomach. my bf has a puppy and she will eat anything as well. try getting her a kong, its a rubber toy that you put treats/dog food in and it is sometimes difficult/like a puzzle for your dog to figure out how to get the treats out, so it is time comsuming. it is much better than a rawhide, trust me.
hope this helps!
