I don’t know, it’s just a preference. I think taller men are just naturally seen as more manly - women want to feel protected. I don’t know why I’m driven to taller men. I’m short myself, and think I must look really short when out with some of the men I’ve dated. I’ve dated a short dude, 5′5, and he was alright, but he’s not the type I usually go for. Tall men seem to be more attracted to me than short men are, too. Genetically, tall is seen as more ideal than short, though, in women, I would disagree. It’s been said that men are wired to prefer short women because in the cave man days, we were more efficient at hunting and gathering than taller women - thus, better providers. I’ve heard short women say that they want a tall man so that they will have tall kids. That makes little difference to me - I don’t think I want kids. Maybe, though, this is why you see a lot of short woman/tall man couples around. BTW, I won’t automatically choose a tall guy over a short one. I prefer average to tall men with muscular or average builds, and looks and personality play equal parts in it.
She was almost 3 and we had been potty training for about 4 months with not much success when someone suggested we take away her diapers and deal with the accidents…She was trained in 2 weeks and never wore a diaper again. Ive come to learn that pull ups are a total waste of money..
Well, I put the potty out for them to sit on as soon as they seemed curious enough about it, which was usually about when they turned two. But they weren’t ready for real training yet and I didn’t expect them to. I did get them pull-ups instead of diapers so they could pull them down and try the potty if they felt like it. Also, because they feel wetter, so they’d notice they peed.
Then when each of them was three years old, I explained to them that it was time to get out of diapers (they were going to preschool soon). I bought them regular underwear to wear during the day. They each had maybe one or two accidents over a couple of days, and then that was it - they were done. No stress for anyone.
It took a couple of them longer to stay dry at night, but no problem - they just wore a pull-up to bed for a while.
Potty trianing can be difficult but fun!! I started training my daughter when she was 2. I have a potty chair for her and she loves stickers so everytime she went on the potty she put a sticker on the chart. She had to get 15 stickers in a week for a big surprise. She was completely trained with in a month. But she wasn’t trained for poopy yet cause she was afraid to go in the potty so i would have to put a diaper on her for her to go but after she went we went in the bathroom and dumped it in the potty and I had her flush it and say bye-bye and that worked and the first time she went in the potty I took her for Ice cream right after. At bed time was so easy for me she just stopped going in her pull up before I had even started potty training her. But all children learn at different rates remember that. Remember you have to be consistent. You have to put him/her on the potty every 20 -30 minutes and always ask him/her if they have to go. you will get the hang of it
