I have tried this food in dry form and my dog will not eat it. Is there anything with like ingredients in a dry small kibble form?

Purina is garbage. You should go to a pet store and buy a premium brand. It may cost a bit more, but it is worth it. I personally use Canidae or Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul. You can feed less because there are no fillers and your dog’s stool will be more firm and easier to clean up.
of course your dog wont eat it if your giving it can food all the time….
Not sure what you are asking? What dog food is compatable to purina en canned food?
Purina is one of the worse dog foods on the market, along with anything else you can buy in a market.
If a dog is properly exercised and challenged he/she will be hungry enough to eat anything.
Try to make him/her feel like he/shes earned it by doing some vigorous exercise before you feed your dog.
Iams or Science Diet is the best way to go. Canned dogfood is not good. No worries about your dog not eating. When they get hungry enough believe me, they will eat. Its a matter of waiting who out. Good luck!
Are you using this food because your dog has some sort of gastrointestinal health issue? It’s a special diet, right?
I’d ask the vet who recommended it what other foods you could try. That would be your best resource.
ETA: Purina makes a whole line of Special Veterinary Diets. The one the asker is talking about, Purina EN, is for gastoenteric issues. It’s NOT the Purina that you’d see at the grocery store, Petco, etc.
They make a dry formulation as well of the EN.

There’s plenty of stuff with comparable ingredients to purina! Start of with some yummy yummy corn (with no nutrients whatsoever), add a few other grains, add more corn, add more corn in a different form, add some lovely rendered meat by products (meaning the stuff that’s too bad to put in hot dogs. How about some sick cattle that died before going to slaughter because they were sick, roadkill, chicken beaks/feathers/feet, euthanized dogs and cats from animal shelters, including the poisons that killed them, the scraps off the floor of the slaughterhouse, etc), a handful of synthetic vitamins to make it semi-nutritious, and a ton of chemical preservatives, pesticides (to kill the bugs living in it), and food coloring to make it look like something nutritious. I think you can find those ingredients yourself, right? Purina does.
Purina is crap. Iams is crap. Pedigree is crap. Eukanuba is crap. And Science Diet is crap.
Each of those, and other grocery store brands are not suitable for anything to be eating, much less on a regular basis. Their main ingredient is corn (which is something that your pup won’t even be able to digest and that many dogs are allergic to), all meats are in the form of various by-products.
You really want to put some effort into finding a good food for your pup because nutrition is the basis to good health.
Some good brands are EVO, Taste of the Wild, Wellness, Orijen, Canidae, and Halo. There’s a few others, but I can’t remember them off the top of my head =] You’ll end up paying more for these ($50 for a 35pound bag, usually) but it all evens out. With a high quality food, not only does your pup benefit from it, but they tend to eat less because it’s actually -real- food, not all fillers, like corn.
you mean the one for sensitive stomachs?
purina is crap so I would try California natural. It has a simple list of ingredients for dogs with sensitive stomachs. it’s all natural/human grade.

Well one– Purina dog brand is not a great brand of dog food
so if you want to try something better
Try with Wellness dog food
they have more meat in it and that will atrract the dog to eat it more
Wellness is natural with no corn or by product which is bad for dogs
good luck
wellness has canned food too
