My brother has a german shephard and he tends to bite him once in a while? How do you stop him from that?

stand up, turn around, cross your arm. make sure to give NO eye contact, just stand there very still. he will get bored with you and walk away. make sure to do this everytime
Is the bite hard or is it just mouthing.
WHEN THE DOG DOES IT… YELP… like a puppy does and then cross your arms and turn around.
THE yelp tells the dog… ouch that hurts.
turning your back says … I am not playing with you any more if you do that.
pretty soon the biting/ mouthing will stop
IF IT DOESN’T take the dog in for some behaviourial training.
a firm but low "no" is a good place to start
teach a dog that he comes last in the pact. dogs tend to listen and respect only his owner coz he thinks only that person is ranked higher then him.so he does to ur brother what dogs do t in wild to other lower pact members.
its just a theory. if this is the case, im surprised, coz german shepards are very good dogs who have inbreeded respect to other pact members.
When does he bite? Could the dog be in pain? Even the nicest dogs may bite when they are hurt or suffering. Is it over food? Food aggression (especially when directed at people) should be addressed quickly and by a professional trainer. Is it in play? Redirect the dog to play with toys. Whenever it makes contact with skin/clothes, ignore the dog until it calms down and then re-initiate play with a toy. Is the dog intact? This can magnify other behavioral issues and be a cause for aggression if a female in heat is near by. Was the dog fighting with another dog? Dog aggression is another problem that should be handled by a professional trainer or behaviorist. Also, you should never attempt to break up fights with your bare hands as you can be severely bitten (even if it is unintentional). Is the dog well trained and under your brother’s control? If the dog sees itself as higher in the pack order, then it feels it has the right to discipline your brother, which often involves biting. If the behavior has reached this point, you need an experienced trainer to help remedy the situation safely. Hopefully this issue can be resolved quickly and safely and with a happy ending for all.
Push your chest out and put your shoulders up and say no in a dominant voice, act like your the pack leader.

I also have a german shepherd, he is a very very good dog. He will play bite a little bit when he is playing but does not ever aggressive bite. It depends what kind of biting you are talking about. When Tropper gets too excited and starts the puppy biting, i immediately stop the playing or whatever is going on and ignore him. Also, if you can remember when he does that, try and make a yelping noise when he does this.
