Try something the same size as her, make sure they like each other. Another lab, or golden retriever. if you don’t want the same breed, than try something like collie. Even though they’re hard to take care of, they have tons of energy and by the end of 1 hour, your dog will be so tired, she can’t take another step to her favorite kong toy filled with her favourite treats.
Another dog cpuld be a huge hassle for you or your grandma. You could send her to a doggy day care. I personally recommend The Loved Dog, run by Tamar Gellar. It’s wonderful.
I hope this helps!
labs tend to be nice dogs.
Another lab or a golden retriever would work.
Good luck.
A male yellow Lab

yeah i would say maybe a lab or a medium sided dog so it would be like a mother to it
A beagle, we have a yellow lab and 3 beagles, they get along great.
Or another lab would be good too. Or a spaniel, german shepherd.
It really all depends on the dogs attitude and personality.
def a pug i have a chocolate lab and he works so well with my pug puppy!! i think the lab thinks he is the dad!!lol
i also have a yorkie but she doesn’t know about the lab they are like fighting bros and sisters!!
pugs name: oli
labs name: junior
yorkies name: sissy
The only thing I can say is to take Belle with you to the shelter or the Pet store you plan on getting the new dog from and see who Belle likes best and who the staff recommends as a pal for her. I would not recommend going for a specific breed because when I was dog walker I meet quite a few dog that did not behave the according to their breed standards or stereotypes. Also while I prefer Victoria stilwell’s (its me or the dog) dog training the dog whisper does seem good at introducing new dogs to each other and things of that nature so you may want to check out one of his books.
Good Luck.
