I can’t stop chewing things! It really bugs me! I once chewed a yellow post-it note, and I sucked all of the color out of it. Why am I doing this, and how do I stop? Thanks! Buh-bye!

Usually when people chew on things it’s because they are nervous or stressed out. The way to stop is to just be aware that you are doing it and tell yourself no. Just put the thing down. It might be hard but hey, it only takes 21 days to totally stop a habit.
Were you weaned too early?
SOUNDS LIKE YOUR SEXUALLY FRUSTRATED TO ME.
slap yourself everytime you do it.
better yet, have someone else slap you. they do it harder. =)
once you realize you are doing it just stop
accept the fact men are dogs and that you must accept yourself just as you are.
You have an oral fixation. My advice if you can’t stop yourself conciously from chewing/biting things then go to a psychologists or read up on the issue. This may be a subconcious problem.
It’s a nervous habit. you need to find another way to calm yourself. Try keeping chewing gum handy. A way to break a bad habit is to place a rubber band on your wrist and each time you catch yourself doing it snap it.
Chew gum instead
A nervous/bad habit disorder. Try finding something else to occupy your mind. If you find it, let me know, my boy friend chews gum all the time but smacks with every chew. I would like to help him find a cure!
Try Blow Pop and Tootisie Roll Suckers!
sound like an oral fixation. Um try chewing on appropriate thing like gum or candy. Are you chewing cuz your nervous ,anxious, bored hungry . If you can figure out what you are feeling then maybe you can stop
